Anderson Mill Landscape Design
Overall Plan
Below is a landscape plan for the renovation of the Anderson Mill. The objective was to create a natural looking landscape design with all native plants that looked like it existed when the mill was first built. Our work included creating two parking lots, a picnic area, and restoration of the reservoir.
Perspective A
Perspective A (below) shows the view from the southern parking lot. We created this perspective in order to show the adjacent neighbor that their property would be completely blocked from view by vegetation. The site will be used as a field trip and tourist destination.
Perspective B
Perspective B (below) depicts children on a field trip and the restored reservoir and mill. The mill will be demolished and rebuilt as an exact replica complete with a working mill wheel.
